Meet the Artists of 2022

As we return to in-person performances for the 2022 festival, we are delighted to welcome a talented local artist to exhibit their artwork in the beautiful surrounds of St. Flannan’s Cathedral, Killaloe.

Henry Morgan

Painter

Born in Adare, Co. Limerick in 1952, Henry Morgan studied at the Limerick School of Art and was awarded a scholarship to Oslo University. Since his return to Ireland, having completed a BA in Fine Art, he has exhibited extensively both at home and abroad and has been a regular exhibitor at the Irish Exhibition of Living Art, The Royal Hibernian Academy, EVA in Limerick, among many others.

Henry has been inspired by the local landscape from the Burren to the Clare Glens and the coast of Clare and beyond. These rugged landscapes feature strongly in his work, and he continues to carve his niche among the higher echelons of Irish Art.

A contemporary artist of substance, his work is now included in many public and private collections. From the Burren and West Clare to the Clare Glens in Co. Limerick, rugged landscapes feature strongly in his work, and he continues to carve his niche amongst the higher echelons of Irish Art.
