Inspired by two composers featured in the festival, this writing workshop is shaped by the music, themes, and life-stories of Rebecca Clarke and Clara Schumann. With generative prompts for prose and poetry, this creative writing experience is open to all.

WORKSHOP HOST: Dr. JESSICA BROWN
With a doctorate in Creative Writing, Jessica Brown is a local writer, poet, creative writing teacher, and narrative studies and public humanities researcher, based in Killaloe. Her publications include the poetry collection And Say and the children's novel The River Boy.
Her education includes a PhD in Creative Writing from University of Limerick, an MFA in Creative Writing from Seattle Pacific University, an MA in English from Boston College, and a BA from Anderson University.
